Terms of use and licence

Last updated 3 November 2026

1. The licence

Kerbline is free. You may install and use it on your own computers for personal, non-commercial use. All rights not expressly granted remain with Kerbline.

2. What you may not do

You may not sell, rent, redistribute or publish Kerbline or its installer; modify, decompile or reverse engineer it except where the law expressly allows (Belgian Code of Economic Law, book XI); remove copyright or trademark notices; or use the Kerbline name, logo, website, videos, screenshots or text without written permission.

3. Copyright

The Kerbline app, its source code, name, logo, voice lines, website, trailers, screenshots and texts are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws, including Belgian law and EU law. Copyright © 2026 Kerbline. All rights reserved.

4. Trademarks and other games

iRacing is a trademark of iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations, LLC. Assetto Corsa and Assetto Corsa Competizione are trademarks of their respective owners. Car and track names belong to their owners. Kerbline is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them. Kerbline only reads the telemetry these games make available to third-party software.

5. Fair play

You are responsible for following the rules of the game and the series you race in. In official iRacing races Kerbline switches to fair-play mode by default (lap times, fuel and safety only).

6. Online leaderboard

Times on the leaderboard are sent by the app and are not verified by iRacing. Don't submit times you didn't drive. We may remove entries that look false or abusive.

7. No warranty

Kerbline is provided free of charge and "as is". Coaching, brake cues and spotter calls are guidance only: you remain in control of your car and responsible for your driving. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damage, lost results, data loss or penalties in a game. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Belgian or EU law, including for intent or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer.

8. Open-source parts

Kerbline includes open-source components under their own licences; those licences continue to apply to those components.

9. Law and courts

These terms are governed by Belgian law. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Questions: use the contact form.
